Case Manager

Youth Alternatives Ingraham is seeking a full-time hourly Case Manager to join the team in our Community Support Services program.  Our Community Support Services program provides engagement, assessment, individual service planning, implementation, crisis intervention and prevention, and advocacy.

You will provide community support services for a targeted group of at-risk individuals experiencing mental health and co-occurring substance abuse issues in the local community.  In addition, you will perform assessments for all referrals, providing referral coordination and advocacy and develop and provide ongoing management of the client centered individual support plan. Youth Alternatives Ingraham provides a fun and supportive work environment with a strong focus on staff development and retention.  
  
Qualifications:  BA/BS in Social Work; or a related field and MHRT-C certification required.  MSW preferred.  Knowledge of the needs of persons experiencing severe or prolonged homelessness, mental illness and/or substance abuse required.  Desire to make a difference in the lives of our clients and contribute to a team environment is essential.  Computer proficiency, a good driving history and ability to pass comprehensive background checks are required.

Salary Range:  Competitive salary, plus full benefits package.

Mobile Crisis Worker

Youth Alternatives Ingraham is seeking a half-time (30 hours) hourly Mobile Crisis Worker to join the team in our Mobile program.  Our Mobile program provides 24-hour response for adults, families and children during a mental health crisis, providing assessment, crisis intervention and psychiatric services throughout Cumberland County.

You will determine the nature of the crisis, assess and triages calls to the appropriate crisis system, and provides services based on need.   In addition, you will conduct clinical assessments plus level of care and lethality evaluations, provide supportive counseling and clinical follow-up services as well as information and referral, financial assistance, and community linkage to clients in order to create plans for hospital diversion.  Youth Alternatives Ingraham provides a fun and supportive work environment with a strong focus on staff development and retention.  

Qualifications:  BA/BSW, MHRT Crisis certification required.  Experience in mental health/crisis intervention with knowledge of DSM-IV criteria.  Must possess the ability to establish working relationships with the crisis team and community resources.  Desire to make a difference in the lives of our clients and contribute to a team environment is essential.  Computer proficiency, a good driving history and ability to pass comprehensive background checks are required.
