Accounts Receivable Representative
40 hours/wk
Youth Alternatives Ingraham is seeking a full-time hourly Accounts Receivable Representative to join our Finance team in South Portland.
You will perform all duties associated with the recording, billing, reporting and reconciling of the Agency’s accounts receivable and cash receipts software system. Youth Alternatives Ingraham provides a fun and supportive work environment with a strong focus on staff development and retention.
Qualifications: BS degree in Accounting preferred or any combination of experience, education and training, which would provide the knowledge for this position. Minimum of 5 years MaineCare, Medicare and private insurance billing experience, preferably in a non-profit healthcare environment. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a computerized accounts receivable environment. Experience with The Financial Edge Accounting Software and Evolv database preferred. Computer proficiency, a good driving history and ability to pass comprehensive background checks are required.

Case Manager
20 hours/wk with potential to grow to 40 hours/wk
Youth Alternatives Ingraham is seeking a half-time (20 hours) hourly Case Manager to join the team in our Childen’s Case Management (CMM). CMM provides case management for children with a serious mental health disturbance or mental illness.
You will provide home-based and community-based case management services to youth, adults, and families with a mental health diagnosis. You will perform Clinical Assessments and reviews and establish goals with clients. In addition, you will provide clients with support necessary to achieve treatment objectives. Area is 30 miles north or south of Brunswick. Youth Alternatives Ingraham provides a fun and supportive work environment with a strong focus on staff development and retention.
Qualifications: BA/BS in a Social Services degree required. Knowledge of mental health, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders treatment and resources required. Experience with Wraparound preferred. Desire to make a difference in the lives of our clients and contribute to a team environment is essential. Parent Partner I
Per Diem
Youth Alternatives Ingraham is seeking a per diem Parent Partner I to join our Advocacy & Prevention Team at our Lydia Lane location in South Portland.
You will provide peer support and assistance to parents involved with Child Protective Services and participate in Family Team Meetings. You will provide individual support with parents to maximize parent voice, choice and involvement throughout the Child Protective process. You will provide coaching to the parents and other members of Family Team in an effort to increase awareness and improve the effectiveness of family-professional partnerships.
Qualifications: Must have personal experience with Child Protective Services; must have resolved all issues related to involvement with DHHS and had case closed a minimum of one year. Must have demonstrated the capacity to work collaboratively with a variety of community agencies providing service to families. High School Graduate/GED (or equivalent if educated in another country). Some college preferred. Demonstrated ability to work independently with a variety of different communities and cultures required. Computer proficiency and a good driving record is a requirement. Must be able to work some evenings and weekends.

Relief Mobile Crisis Worker

Per diem
Youth Alternatives Ingraham is seeking per diem hourly Mobile Crisis Workers to join the team in our Mobile program. Our Mobile program provides 24-hour response for adults, families and children during a mental health crisis, providing assessment, crisis intervention and psychiatric services throughout Cumberland County.
You will determine the nature of the crisis, assess and triages calls to the appropriate crisis system, and provides services based on need. In addition, you will conduct clinical assessments plus level of care and lethality evaluations, provide supportive counseling and clinical follow-up services as well as information and referral, financial assistance, and community linkage to clients in order to create plans for hospital diversion. Youth Alternatives Ingraham provides a fun and supportive work environment with a strong focus on staff development and retention.
Qualifications: BA/BSW, must become MHRT-Crisis certified within 30 days of employment. Minimum of two-three years experience with crisis intervention, psychiatric triage, and advocacy desired. Must possess the ability to establish working relationships with the crisis team and community resources. Desire to make a difference in the lives of our clients and contribute to a team environment is essential. Computer proficiency, a good driving history and ability to pass comprehensive background checks are required.

Residential Services Technician - Asleep/Live-In

Youth Alternatives Ingraham is seeking a full-time hourly Asleep Overnight Residential Services Technician to join the team at one of our 9 group homes – State Street House. State Street House, located in Portland, is a collaborative effort of Mercy Recovery and Youth Alternatives Ingraham to increase access to recovery-oriented care for homeless men living with co-occurring disorders of mental illness and addiction. The program provides a sober living environment with 24-hour support for homeless men with co-occurring disorders to remain sober and engaged in treatment during transition to further residential care or return to the community.
You will provide residents with necessary support for accomplishing tasks of daily living, collaborate in establishing treatment goals, assist with the implementation of the treatment plan and help ensure safety in the milieu for residents and staff. In addition, you will provide daily supervision to the residents as well as provide some household management as well as share responsibility for documentation of daily activity and client progress. Youth Alternatives Ingraham provides a fun and supportive work environment with a strong focus on staff development and retention.
Qualifications: Associate’s degree or two years of college credit in a human services or related field and/or two years full-time equivalent working in the human services field. Desire to make a difference in the lives of our clients and contribute to a team environment is essential.
