Community Supports
Each and every day, Community Programs at Youth Alternatives Ingraham are hard at work with children and families in their homes, workplaces, the public schools, juvenile courts and local community centers — not to mention on the streets —helping to prevent and resolve the crises that tear families apart.
Our programs are:
Mediation Services:
foster better communication
Supported Visits Program:
provides supported visits for child protective clients in York County.
Homeless Youth Services:
support and stability for youth and families
Community Alternatives Program (formerly JDAP):
short-term case management for juvenile offenders
Juvenile Behavioral Health Program:
comprehensive clinical services for youth detained at Long Creek Youth Development Center and their families.
Parenting and Family Education:
low-barrier services including parenting classes, seminars on conflict resolution with teens (PERC), special events, referrals and by-request trainings.
Young Parent Program:
education, Socialization and Support Services
Multidimensional Treatment Foster Care:
a brief yet effective 6 to 12 month placement for teens looking to get their lives back on track; learning social/emotional skills and effective problem solving.
Treatment Foster Care:
foster family placement that creates safe, loving homes for children who have been removed from their homes because of abuse or neglect.
