Parent Effectiveness in Resolving Conflict (PERC): PERC
Our seven-week series at the Family Center in South Portland offers valuable information about adolescent development and ways to improve your relationship with your teen. Learn to identify causes for concern, explore ways to respond to challenges, prepare to handle drug and sexuality issues, and connect with community resources for parents.

Strengthening Families

Strengthening Families Program:

The Strengthening Families Program (SFP) involves the entire family. Parents and children attend together, sharing a family meal, attending their own parenting classes and children’s groups, and wrapping up each evening with family activities. Transportation and childcare are available.

This five-week workshop series will help you understand what to expect from your experience with the child welfare system.  This series is sponsored and co-facilitated by Parents as Partners, a group of parents who have successfully reunited with their children.
