Reardon's Place
Reardon’s Place is a seven-bed facility in South Portland, ME,
licensed to serve males ages 12-18.
- Youth experiencing mental health crisis or at risk of detention are eligible for admission with an immediate goal of minimal time out of home.
- Reardon’s Place milieu provides daily cognitive behavioral therapy facilitated by a master’s level clinician.
- Provides weekly parenting support group that is led by a PERC (Parent Effectiveness in Resolving Conflict with your Teen) trained master’s level clinician.
- Intensive family reunification services and aftercare services provided to fully support the youth’s transition home.
- Reardon’s Place utilizes the evidence-based High Fidelity Wraparound approach for all youth and families served.
Expected outcomes for all youth and families include:
- Stabilization
- Team formation including natural supports
- An individualized, strength-based and culturally competent community re-integration plan
- A Functional Behavioral Assessment and Crisis Plan that has been practiced by the youth, family, and team prior to discharge.
